Lily Absinthe is a clothing business specializing in the design and creation of historical clothing of the period from the late 19th and 20th Centuries and clothing inspired by that period. Our primary focus is on women’s clothing and we do it all from corsets and underpinnings to outerwear. We bring over 30 years of experience and we have executed commissions for both the entertainment industry and private clients, each custom made to the client’s specific requirements utilizing proprietary patterns and techniques. Our attention to historical detail is unmatched, drawing on our large reference collection of extant original garments, books, magazines, and other ephemera. Also, with our access to the textile markets of Los Angeles, New York, and a network of international partners located in France, India, and elsewhere, we are able to utilize the best fabrics and trims to add the highest degree of quality and authenticity.

Also, while rooted in the past, Lily Absinthe is also looking forward, offering a line of custom couture inspired by the past but using the most modern techniques and fabrics to meet the needs of the forward-thinking client looking for something unique and different. No project is too small nor too big and we strive to deliver excellent in everything we create.
