C. 1889 Mantle

Based of an original garment in our collection, this mantle is the perfect outer garment for a night out on the town. This mantle complements you dress and it designed to fit over the bustled/trained skirts of late 1880s. The fashion fabric is a gold-colored paisley pattern with red accents and harmonizes with a gold moire lining fabric, both made from a polyester blend.

Please note: mantles of this era had very narrow sleeves that may feel confining to the modern person.
