The bridal gowns were brought last night, so now we have twice the ruffles and tulle in here! 🙂

It feels like such a sacrilege to cram this incredible room filled with art with all of our gown inventory, but I remind myself that within a week, there will be back to it’s Mid-Century minimalism. For now, I just laugh a lot and take “Holy cow!” pictures. 🙂

It feels like a lifetime ago that I had my amazing dedicated work studio and “a life”…and yet, it’s only been one month. My new studios will be done by next weekend, but for now I am totally happy to be sewing in the kitchen…not going to depend on other contractor’s work schedules…Cowgirl’n up and moving forward. 🙂
Things have been a bit chaotic as we move forward with preparing the new atelier space. In the meantime, the new house is rapidly filling up with blots of fabric and pattern paper, sewing machines, mannequins, boxes of patterns, and all the other miscellaneous tools and odd bits that go into making a fashion atelier what it it. 🙂

And there’s no end to the fabric…

And just a few of the many pattern blocks…
Of course, the highest priority is getting the new atelier workspace prepared…

Working out the color scheme, flooring, and curtain details…yes, we’re also interior designers on occasion…
The overall goal is to be able to provide a more enjoyable experience for our clients so we’ve been giving a lot of thought and consideration into getting the details just right. Stay tuned for more as we move forward with our latest venture. 🙂
Rich silks, lush pleating, hand finishing, stunning designs- we’re inspired by the beauty of La Belle Epoch for our Lily Absinthe Brides. <3
