Leaving No. 11…

Well, once again it’s time to load up the car and head back to LA. It was a short and busy weekend for us- not only did we have concern ourselves with ball gowns and such, but we also were involved in preparing Schieffelin Hall for the Third Territorial Days Ball. The spray paint sprayed freely this weekend…. 🙂

Well, we’re off to our next adventure…We’ll have more soon! 🙂

Flying Out…

Once again I’m at LAX waiting for my flight to Tucson…this time, it’s back to Tombstone for the Tombstone Territorial Days event. 🙂 It seems that Southwest Airlines is seeing a lot of me these days and with in-flight meals like this, why not? 😉

It’s Friday of Labor Day weekend and that means that I’m off to No. 11! If I read the weather reports correctly, it’s going to be cooler in Tombstone than LA. Go figure… 🙂

Looking forward to an Arizona color palette…

Now that we’ve finished our move to our new home and studio in Woodland Hills, next week I’m taking my work and will enjoy our historic home in Old West Tombstone for a few days. Looking forward to my scheduled fittings and Old House adventures! 🙂

Helldorado Diary- Sunday

Helldorado Diary, Sunday. Parade Day and I’m finally going to go to town. The bodice still needs the silk tulle neckline filler and the covered buttons but it looks like I’ll be out on time… 🙂

At last! No dress drama, off to the parade! My usual mirror selfie has great significance because this is the FIRST TIME EVER (since 2003) that I was ready on time to see the Helldorado Parade so that makes this a trophy shot! 🙂

Tombstone’s annual “Homecoming” Old Timey Parade and Festival happens every third Sunday of October. Pioneer Era families return to visit and tourists invade. This is the largest event of the year in this sleepy Old West Paradise.

And here’s proof that we had fun and rode a stagecoach in town. Now I know why Victorians had “travelling clothes”. 🙂

All Aboard!

And here’s a good view of me and my new dress:

And finally, the party’s over…I am wearing something far more comfortable than this! 🙂
